Outdoor Access Trust for Scotland

The Outdoor Access Trust For Scotland an innovative environmental charity working to promote sustainable public access.

We work to develop and implement an access management strategy that integrates the needs of land managers, access users and local communities, whilst conserving and protecting the natural heritage throughout Scotland.

Who we are

The Outdoor Access Trust was formed in 1998, originally as Upper Deeside Access Trust and then more recently as Cairngorms Outdoor Access Trust.

Our most recent name change reflects the growth and expansion of our activities throughout Scotland and is celebration to our success in delivering outdoor access related projects across both of Scotland’s National Parks and surrounding areas.
