Path Map

The Cobbler

The Cobbler is a mountain of 884 metres height located near the head of Loch Long in the Arrochar Alps.  Also known as Ben Arthur, The Cobbler has the most distinctive outline of any mountain in the Southern Highlands and makes a fantastic shorter walk.

Although only a Corbett, it is “one of the most impressive summits in the Southern Highlands.”

The final stages of the path upgrade are in progress on this upland route which are anticipated (weather dependent!) to be completed by early 2020.
