This is a well used route from the Cairngorm plateau down to popular camping areas around Loch Avon and well known climbing routes.
Work was completed in 2013 with the sections above and below the bedrock step needing quite intensive stone work to repair. Lower sections were in better condition and required ‘light touch techniques’.
