Path Map

Braeriach

This is a popular path from the Lairig Ghru up to the summit of Braeriach, the 2nd highest Munro in the Cairngorms National Park. Work on this path was completed in 2013 and included rebuilding of the Sinclair line, a built path up Sron na Lairig and light touch works on the approach to the summit.

The specialised Remote Accommodation System (RAS) was deployed for works on Sron na Lairig and the light touch works on the summit, allowing the contractor to live on site and maximise the weather window and time on site.

Thanks to Upland Access Ltd, Stonescape Ltd and Cairngorm Wilderness Contracts for all their excellent work., and to PDG Helecopters, Cairngorm Mountain and the team from Mar Lodge Estate for their help with the the RAS.
