Ben Vane

One of the Arroachar Alps, Ben Vane only just makes Munro status but has great character with very steep and rockly slopes on all sides. The ascent is short by hillwalking standards but there are several false tops and the climb is a sustained one.

This route which ascends directly up the south east ridge of Ben Vane, is very popular with hill walkers and Munro baggers.
