Ballater to Cambus o May

The Deeside Way to Ballater runs along the north side of the River Dee. A popular stopping point along the way is the Cambus o’ May white suspension bridge; the Ballater Community were keen to use the bridge to create a circular return route to Ballater along the south side of the River Dee. Therefore with Cairngorm LEADER funding a new section of aggregate and grass path were created to join up with existing estate, forestry and roadside tracks and paths.

Path link across River Dee Closed due to 30th December 2015 Storm Frank flood Damage; Cambus o’ May Bridge closed due to damage therefore breaking circular route.
