Alastrean Woods, Tarland

As part of the Aberdeenshire Core Paths planning process Alastrean Woods, Tarland, was highlighted as a path with great potential to be improved to an all abilities access standard. The old path was upgraded with a 1.5m width aggregate surface covering tree roots throughout the woods. The circular route accessed from the car park now allows wheelchair/mobility scooter and pushchair use.
