7 Bridges Path (north) Ballater

The Ballater community had requested if the old line of the 7- Bridges walk could be diverted away from the North Deeside road. Funding from Cairngorms National Park Authority and the Scottish Government enabled for a new 20m span bridge to be constructed across the River Gairn linking on to a grass path which now takes the line along the North bank of the River Dee linking to one of the 7-Bridges, the Polhollick Suspension Bridge, and back onto the original route.

Path Closed due to 30th December 2015 Storm Frank flood Damage; both the path and Polhollick Bridge closed.
